You may see this logo, but do you know what it means? ASE Certified means one or more technicians in the facility have passed tests given by ASE. Technicians are tested on 8 different vehicle systems. When a technician passes all 8 tests, they received the ASE Master Certified Technician status. Then they qualify to be tested on the Level 1 and Level 2 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist and the X1-Advanced Level Exhaust & Undercar Specialist. Currently, All About Automotive has on staff 2 ASE Master Certified Technicians with one of them also having qualified as a Level 1 Advanced Engine Performance and X1 Exhaust & Undercar Specialist. Our other technicians are currently working towards an ASE Certification.
The Automotive Service Association (ASA) advances professionalism and excellence in the automotive repair industry through education, representation and member services. AAA has been a member of this association since 2000.
ASA members must keep up to date with evolving technology by attending classes. They also have access to the latest technical and regulatory information. In short, they're equipped to work on today's vehicles.
Oregon has one of the toughest emission standards in the United States. All About Automotive has been approved to be a DEQ Recgonized Repair Facility. DEQ has reviewed the technicians’ qualifications and has made sure the shop has the proper diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair emission failures on a vehicle. DEQ has also checked the integrity of the shop ensuring that vehicles are repaired properly to meet their high standards.
